University of Cambridge Decarbonisation Network

 

The Special interest Groups (SIGs) provide a focus for key technologies in which the University has particular strengths, and which support decarbonisation of our society, linking University-wide expertise with a broad industry network and the public sector. 

Inter-disciplinary research across the University of Cambridge is well placed to pursue realistic solutions addressing the complex challenges of decarbonisation. SIG activities draw together expertise in complementary disciplines across the University and feed into several major University-wide initiatives.

The University hosts regular discussion meetings on specific topics of interest to Cambridge researchers and their collaborative partners. Each SIG hosts two of these a term, and a summary of each session can be found on the SIG pages and on the resources page. Annual SIG meetings will be convened to delve deeper into certain topics, with the first round of these to be held in the Autumn 2022. These events will be paid and are open to sponsorship.
