As Michaelmas term has come to a close, we would like to update you on the Decarbonisation Network’s activities that took place this term.

In September, the Network’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs) came together under the banner of ‘Innovations in UK Building Retrofits’ at the Network’s first symposium. In the morning, there was a road mapping workshop on AI/Data Science for decarbonisation of the Built Environment*. The afternoon session included industry presentations and focus group discussions about Emerging technologies in Retrofit.

The Network has continued with its online panel discussions bringing together industry and academics to highlight key challenges and research opportunities within the SIGs. Links to the summary reports are below.
