An exciting new opportunity has opened up to conduct research at SSE Renewables’ Coire Glas Pumped Hydro Storage Scheme. Coire Glas is the first large scale pumped storage project to be developed in the UK for more than 40 years and offers unique opportunities for researchers which is why SSE Renewables has opened a general ‘call for proposals’.

From engineering, business, geography, environmental studies to earth and social sciences, SSER is inviting submissions from academics at all career stages and from all disciplines, building on the opportunity of Coire Glas to advance knowledge and our understanding of the natural and social world.
